Chris Thompson Founder and Executive Director, has an extensive background in finance, international marketing and technology -- having established several successful enterprises, designed marketing strategies and formed numerous joint ventures in the e-commerce, Internet and telecom sectors with companies including Samsung, Boston Edison, RCN and Hutchison Whampoa. Over the last 25 years, Mr. Thompson has held positions in the U.S. Senate, Drexel Burnham Lambert, and Bear Stearns in Washington DC, Beverly Hills and San Francisco respectively.
Dr.Bart Fisher Ph.D., JD - Co-founder, is Managing Partner of the Law Office of Bart S. Fisher. He has practiced international trade and investment law since 1972 -- founding this practice for Patton Boggs and has represented trade associations such as the American International Automobile Dealers Association; U.S. corporations such as Mars, Incorporated; and foreign governments such as the People's Republic of China, Iceland, and the Dominican Republic.
Dr. Fisher holds a law degree from Harvard Law School, an M.A. and Ph.D. in International Relations from SAIS, and a B.A. from Washington University. He has written a leading law school casebook on international trade and investment, and his articles have been published in numerous newspapers and law journals. He is a SAIS Professorial Lecturer in American Foreign Policy at Johns Hopkins University and is currently Chairman of the Give Life Foundation, Vice Chairman of The Institute of Biltmore, and Managing Partner of J J & B Investment Banking.
Ravi Tangirala - C.O.O - is a certified professional from Sun Microsystems and Brainbench. He has got extensive experience in developing large-scale, distributed software and cyber security systems for commercial and government systems. He specializes in solving sensor integration, cyber security and vulnerability problems at multiple levels of scale of the Enterprise for clients across a variety of business and government sectors. Mr. Tangirala has been a key figure in development and implementation of the several multimillion dollar Projects involving complex detection systems and high end security solutions.
Perry Curkendall - Senior VP of Global Sales, joined BLG in June 2007 and contributes over 15 years of high-tech sales leadership experience specializing in network security and software applications for various companies including AT&T, Cable & Wireless, and Symantec. Prior to this he spent over 12 years in the U.S. Air Force where he worked in organizations such as the Defense Intelligence Agency in Washington, DC, and NATO in Northern Europe developing a diverse range of experience in both the commercial sector and federal government – including the DoD. He has managed global teams selling to major accounts encompassing the FBI, Federal Reserve, DISA, Northrop, Verizon, SBC/AT&T, and Harris.
Most recently he spent four years in the Symantec consumer organization where he managed their national and global OEM accounts for IBM, Verizon, SBC, Charter Communications, Shaw, EarthLink, and Google. Perry earned degrees from the Community College of the Air Force, University of Maryland, and an MBA from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY.
